Eucharistic Ministers
assist the priest
and deacon in sharing the Body and Blood of Christ with the assembly and homebound parishioners.

Lectors
proclaim the First and Second readings at Sunday Mass to share the message of the Word with the parish family
.

Ushers
greet parishioners and facilitate the collection of the offerings for the support of the parish.

CHOIRS
Children, teens
, and adults lead the community in singing the praises of the Lord.

Altar Servers
assist the priest at Mass. 

Catechists
Ordinary people who, by words and example, help others to have glimpses of grace amidst the ordinariness of everyday life.  They provide instruction to people of all ages.

Scripture Groups
gather to reflect on the Word of God and share faith experiences.

Cornerstone
provides an enriching community experience for women and men to revitalize their relationship with God.

Rosarians
pray the Rosary and work in our parish to honor the Blessed Mother Mary. 

Knights of Columbus
support all other organizations in the parish under the patronage of Mary, Queen of the Knights.

Our parish encourages the development and implementation of activities as interest and needs are defined. 


Health Ministry provides:

  • Prayer Chain prayer support for any need.

  • Information and Screenings

  • Phone calls/Visits to homebound.

  • Transportation to/from local medical services

  •  Monthly Blood Drive for whole blood and aphaeresis donations.

  • Senior Mass & Luncheon several times a year. 

ABC Playgroup
is a social gathering for babies, children, moms, and caregivers that meets weekly during the school year.

Food Pantry
distributes groceries donated by parishioners to help sustain families and members of the community in time of need.

Gift Cards
Shop Rite and A & P cars are available.  At no additional cost to you, the parish receives 5% for all your purchases, a convenient and significant source of parish revenue.

AA and Al-Anon
meet on the premises.

Continuing Catholic Development.  We believe in life-long learning that begins at birth and continues to death.  We encourage all our members to take advantage of the rich opportunities for spiritual growth and development offered by our parish family


Adults
Enrichment Programs are scheduled for the convenience of the participants to nurture their growth in faith.

  • RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is formation for people seeking preparation to receive sacraments or a deeper knowledge of our Catholic faith. 

  • RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation for Children) 

  • Pre-Cana A team of married couples sharing information, experience, and encouragement with engaged couples; available twice yearly. 

Teens
Confirmation to explore and deepen the faith of our young people leading to the reception of the sacrament.  Small groups, large groups, community service, social activities, and retreats are offered. 

Children
Our Lady Queen of Peace School

A Middle States accredited elementary school imbued with the tradition of St. Francis and the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. We serve children from preschool through grade 8 and are committed to developing the students' understanding of Jesus' great commandment: Love of God and Love of Neighbor.

Religious Education .

  • Home Family  An opportunity is offered for parents and children grades 1-8 to learn their faith together by means of weekly lessons completed at home and monthly gatherings with other families. 

  • Grades 1-6  Small groups of about 12 children meet with volunteer catechists weekly from September through April.

  • Grades 7-8  Groups of 5-10 students meet with catechists to share their faith and their developing questions about what it means to be a Christian in our world today. 

  • Summer Religious Education is an active, intensive two week study for grades 3-6.

Adult Enrichment Planning Team
The group of parishioners who gather four times a year to plan a program for the year.  The goal of the team is to provide a variety of opportunities for personal and spiritual growth for the adult parishioners with special emphasis on the development of small Christian communities.
